We come here pretty regularly, and my nephew loves their fried chicken, so this was really disappointing. Today we ordered fried chicken for my nephew, and when we gave him a bite, he immediately started gagging. That’s when we looked at the chicken more closely. After removing the skin, the meat underneath was pinkish and had a slippery, undercooked-looking texture. We obviously weren’t comfortable continuing to feed that to him. My mom brought the plate back and simply asked if we could get a smaller piece, thinking a smaller piece might be cooked through better. Instead of just addressing our concern or replacing it, the chef came out and repeatedly tried to explain to us how chicken legs are supposed to look and how frying them longer would burn them. He even took a bite from the chicken on the plate we had brought back, apparently to prove to us that it was cooked. I found that incredibly unnecessary and disrespectful. We know how to cook chicken, and we know the difference between properly cooked chicken and chicken that looks and feels undercooked. We weren’t asking for a cooking lesson. We were simply saying that we weren’t comfortable eating or serving that piece of chi

If you want to grocery shop and eat in the same building, I would recommend Al-Aqsa. They got all the good food like fried chicken to beef curry. They also have very good sweets.
